Nurse’s Son Awarded Medal of Valor

Aaron Zwicky, son of our nurse Kathy Zwicky, recieved the Medal of Valor for his efforts in saving the lives of two women and himself. The Alzheimer’s Association has published their annual Facts & Figures. The article provides a wealth of knowledge on Alzheimer’s disease & presents shocking information about the impact this disease has on our society. Did you know that…

  • In 2010, 14.9 million family and friends provided 17 billion hours of unpaid care to those with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
  • Alzheimer’s disease is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States and the 5th leading cause of death for those aged 65 and older.
